In the PFC meeting, the Vice Chancellor made a brief statement on the programmes and activities of the University and stressed the need for increased funding for the smooth running of the University where youths of the different member states of the OIC are studying in a conducive multicultural and multilingual environment.

The University was appreciated for its contribution to facilitating the training and education of the youths of the Ummah over the years within its modest capacity.
IUT was advised to explore the possibility of alternative sources of funding for undertaking its various development projects needed for upgrading its facilities for the benefit of the students.
The issue of accreditation of different programmes also came up in course of discussion. The VC assured the session that all the major engineering programmes are in the process of getting accredited shortly and in the meantime, one programme viz; B.Sc. Engineering in Civil Engineering degree has been accredited.

The session endorsed the budget of the University for the financial year 2022 for onward submission to the upcoming session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) to be held in Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, scheduled for 22-23 March 2022.
