
The session was attended by, among others, H.E. Mr. Masud Bin Momen, Foreign Secretary (Senior Secretary); H.E. Ms. Wahida Ahmed, Director General (IO), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; H.E. Dr. Saleh Ibrahim Alqasoumi, Deputy Minister for International Cooperation, Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to KSA and Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the OIC; H.E. Professor Diaraf SECK, Technical Adviser Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Dakar, Government of the Republic of Senegal; H.E. Mr. Daouda Mahamat Khali, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Chad in Riyadh, KSA; H. E. Mr. Jehanzeb Khan, Counsellor at High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Dhaka; Prof. Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Islamic University of Technology (IUT) along with other high officials of the University.

The meeting was also attended by the representatives from Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Ambassador Askar Mussinov, Assistant Secretary General at Department of Science and Technology; H.E. Dr. Alsharabi Faisal Mohammed, Director General of Admin and Finance; H.E. Prof. Dr. Abdallah Bakhit Saleh, Advisor to Secretary General of OIC and Ms. Aida Toumi, Professional Officer at Department of Science and Technology.
The meeting resolved a number of important issues for the development of the University and elected H.E. Dr. Saleh Ibrahim Alqasoumi, Deputy Minister for International Cooperation, Ministry of Education, KSA as Chairman and Vice-Chairmen of the Governing Board of IUT from the Republic of Kazakhstan, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and Republic of Chad.
