The delegation was warmly received by Professor Dr. M. Rafiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor, and high officials of the University.
The delegation met with the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Heads of the Department, Members of the Faculty, and senior officials of the University and exchanged views.
The delegation was taken around the campus and informed about the various research and academic activities of IUT. The guest was highly impressed by visiting the laboratories and workshops of the University.
The Turkish Ambassador was keen to explore the possibilities of mutual co-operation between IUT and the different educational institutes of Turkey.
Dr. Ismail Gündoğdu assures establishing a 3D Printing Laboratory in the University, which TİKA will fund.
On 5 October 2021, IUT Vice-Chancellor and Pro-Vice-Chancellor had an audience with H.E. Mr. Haytham Ghobashy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Dhaka, at the latter’s office.
While exchanging views, the IUT delegation thanked the Egyptian Ambassador and the Government of Egypt for their continued moral, material, and intellectual support to the University.
