Bachelor
of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
2. Higher
Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with various
specialization
The
Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering and in Electronic
Engineering are integrated programmes of four and three years
duration comprising of eight and six semesters respectively.
The admission requirements are Higher/Upper Secondary School
Certificate level with science background. The students who
secure good grades in the first six semesters of the first
three years in Higher Diploma in Engineering, are eligible
under sponsorship for admission in the fourth and final year
leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Electrical
and Electronic Engineering.
Besides
the above programmes, knowledge and skill upgrading courses
are
Offered
by EEE Department on regular basis for the students of Instructor
Training and General Studies (ITS) at various levels starting
from the lowest level of the Certificate in Vocational Education
to the highest level of the Master of Science in Technical
Education including Post Graduate Diploma in Technical Education,
Bachelor of Science in Technical Education, Diploma in Technical.
Education. Diploma in Vocational Education.
Besides
the above long regular programmes special training programmes
are designed and offered on short term basis as per request
from Member States of OIC. The course curricula are under
constant scrutiny and review and continuously updated to meet
the needs and requirements of the Member States. The levels
and contents of the courses are kept at international standard.
Seminar
and Workshops on national and international levels are also
organized by the department to disseminate information on current
progress in Technology and technical know-how among the personnels
of the OIC Member States who are involved in the promotion,
development and application of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Science and Technology. |
