Notification on Admission for the Academic year 2016-2017
The University is pleased to announce the following information/clarification/amendment/modification with regard to the policy of admission, taking into consideration the greater interest of the admission- seekers for the academic year 2016-2017 within the purview of its mandate:
- It was decided to impose US$ 100.00 as processing fee with a view to providing better services over the years without asking the students to make any further payment for any extra service. However, in order to lessen, a little bit, the financial burden of the students, the processing fee of US$ 100.00 has been waived for the candidates for admission into the next academic year. The processing fee will be refunded to those who have already paid the same along with admission fees;
- The policy regarding the number of OIC-Financed B.Sc. Engineering students (110) for admission shall remain the same as in the previous academic years without any change whatsoever;
- A master plan which will be finalized by next financial year, is being chalked out incorporating, among others, the construction of new state of the art student dormitories in order to facilitate accommodating student population on the campus and thereby allowing more students for admission. However, for the ensuing academic year, the provision for admission of non-residential students has been kept which has been decided by the relevant authorities in order to enable the University not only to admit additional number of students, but also to allow students to get admitted at a lesser cost thereby reducing their financial burden. Many brilliant students who could not have afforded the fees under residential scheme would now be able to take the excellent educational facilities under non-residential scheme that are being offered for the benefit of the Islamic Ummah.
